This was the third in a series of office refurbishments for premium serviced offices provider Esselco Services and it required a radical approach. Our objective was to create a flexible, light and modern interior whilst retaining a boutique feel that paid respect to the buildings prestigious residential roots.

To create this modern-day members’ club we needed to adopt a very different aesthetic from that in other Esselco properties. Our focus was to preserve the original features by restoring the

staircase and stonework whilst creating a stunning roof terrace, accessed from the main reception through sensitively integrated doors, and reconfiguring the meeting and interview spaces below.

The addition of classic modern furniture and a sympathetic lighting layout has transformed this once tired and dated environment to an elegant and prestigious space to work, meet and relax whilst celebrating the buildings 19th Century history.
