Roche Diagnostics, the global market-leader in Medical Diagnostic Equipment and Pharmaceuticals appointed us to design and refurbish their new premises which needed to reflect their pre-eminent market standing and forward thinking culture whilst encouraging improved communication. The resulting project won a BCO award and was delivered within budget and two weeks ahead of schedule.
The building, a 1970’s dilapidated shell was completely regenerated to house the extensive facilities needed to support the business. The many stunning features included a new glazed
atrium, linking two of the existing buildings constructed using contemporary, energy efficient materials and natural roof lights. Overall the complex scheme involved everything from the provision of an on-site generator and stand-alone environment for the computer room through to deionised water systems for the demonstration laboratories.
